Hanging on
Small Baboon kid hanging on and looking quite displeased into the camera. A small baboon kid is clinging to its mother as they cross a scorching sun-baked African plain. The youngster’s fur coat protects it from the heat but its eyes are wide with fear of being left behind. Suddenly, the mother stops and the baby slides down her back to the ground. It looks up at her and she makes a reassuring noise before continuing on.
Weaver bird nests
A old half alive tree dotted with weaver bird nests with the sun setting in the horizon. Weaver birds build their nests on the most flimsy twigs of the tree to avoid predators eating their eggs.
Sharksucker fish
A closer look at the small sucking fish that was holding on to a big Sailfish. What is visible on the picture is the suction area that the fish uses to attach itself to the larger creature that will act as the underwater host.

Zebras in the Mara river
A small group of zebras have descended down the steep river bank and are now standing in the water probably afraid to take the full step of crossing the deep middle of the river.
Talking Olive baboon
I am not sure if this Olive Baboon was talking me or what was the intention, but the sounds and the gestures was there.
Disabled elephant
Looking at this adult elephant and you can see one of the back legs is disfigured. Most likely inherited as we saw other elephants in the herd with similar issues. Apart from the disfigured back leg the elephant looked healthy so it would not have been too much of a handicap for survival.
Overheating crocodile
Crocodiles basking in the sun can overheat but opening the mouth can lower the body temperature. Here a example from Tsavo east.
