Buffalo in morning sunlight
Buffalo are a common sight in the Masai Mara National Reserve of Kenya. They are usually seen grazing in the early morning hours, when the sun is just peeking over the horizon and the landscape is still mostly dark. The buffalo are standing in the bright morning sun, and the old, scarred, weathered skin is illuminated with a warm glow. They look like creatures from another time, relics of a bygone era that have somehow managed to survive into the modern age.
