Aberdares moorlands
Around 3800 meters altitude after a long climb up elephant hill. Beautiful view down from the moorlands of the Aberdares mountain range. The Aberdares mountain range is located in central Kenya and is part of the Eastern Rift Valley. The Aberdares mountain range is made up of a series of forested hills and highlands that rise to an altitude of 4,000 meters. The Aberdare National Park is located in the foothills of the Aberdares mountain range and is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and rhinos. The Aberdare mountain range receives plenty of rainfall and has many swamps and bogs. The climate is unpredictable and can change quickly from sunny skies to rainstorms.
