Masai Boy tending to his cattle close to Nguruman
As we journeyed along the dusty Nguruman road, we encountered Maasai herdsmen guiding their cattle across the arid plains. We paused to refresh ourselves with water and, with their kind permission, captured the scene with a photograph.
Nguruman, a modest town nestled in Kenya’s Rift Valley Province, is home to the Maasai people, renowned for their deep-rooted cattle culture and traditional nomadic way of life. The town’s proximity to the Nguruman Escarpment offers breathtaking vistas of the magnificent Great Rift Valley.
