Centuries old trees on Mount Kenya
In the Mount Kenya rain forest you can find trees dating back many centuries. The bark of the tree tells a story of long time ago when the mountain was ruled by large elephant and Buffalo herds.

Gabar Goshawk
High above our viewpoint a beautiful Gabar Goshawk is sitting on his favorite stick looking for small prey on the ground
Ghost crab
Small ghost crab only a few inches away from it's home in the intertidal zone on the beach. These crabs are scavengers cleaning up all eatable items on the beach. The pale colors and patterns are perfectly matching the beach sand making it harder for birds to snatch them.

Early morning and a small canoe vessel made of the trunk of a Mango tree is heading out to catch Kingfish outside off the reef
Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park
Image from the beautiful Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. The park is situated behind Wasini island near the old Slave trade city of Shimoni. In Shimoni you will also find the famous Shimoni slave caves that was used by the Sultan of Zanzibar as a slave hold.
Great blue Heron
A Great blue Heron fishing near the shoreline south coast Kenya. The Heron is targeting the small fish that are trapped inside the reef at low tide.
