Colobus monkeys at the Kenyan south coast

Colobus monkeys are gentle herbivores that, unlike some of their more mischievous relatives, typically coexist peacefully with humans. You won’t find them raiding your home or stealing your belongings. These stunning creatures boast a striking black and white coat, with a black face framed by a ring of white fur with a black top. They are also incredibly agile climbers, effortlessly navigating their arboreal habitat.
