Mangrove trees are quite an amazing plant as it grows directly in saltwater with strong tidal variation. In order to survive this hostile environment the Mangrove tree has barriers in the roots that filter out salt. Mangrove seeds float and it can therefore be dispersed over a large area of coast line.

Colobus Monkey the gentleman of the forest
The Colobus monkeys of Diani Beach, Kenya are a captivating sight. Known for their gentle and peaceful nature, these herbivores are a stark contrast to their opportunistic Sykes monkey cousins. Content to feast on leaves, fruits, flowers, and twigs, they live harmoniously in large family groups, fostering a strong sense of community. Their striking black and white coats and long, flowing hair make them easily recognizable, a dramatic difference from the pure white fur of their newborns.
