In order to survive this hostile environment the Mangrove tree has barriers in the roots that filter out salt. Mangrove seeds float and it can therefore be dispersed over a large area of coast line.

Content to feast on leaves, fruits, flowers, and twigs, they live harmoniously in large family groups, fostering a strong sense of community. Their striking black and white coats and long, flowing hair make them easily recognizable, a dramatic difference from the pure white fur of their newborns.
