The images you see here is from an early morning at the Mara river where this group of lions where out looking for a easy meal. Lions are not a very fast hunters and consequently have to use other techniques to get a full stomach. Many times lions just hide in the grass or in a bush where it knows that prey will pass, it could be a water hole or route that is used by zebras, wildebeest etcetera. Lions tend to hunt mostly in the morning or at night but if the chance arises they will kill even in midday sun on a hot day. A quiet morning in the Masai Mara Kenya.

Colobus monkeys are very gentle and friendly monkeys. Comparing them to Sykes, you have the Sykes that are extremely opportunistic and the Colobus that can live peacefully without stealing or marauding. The Colobus monkeys are herbivorous, eating leaves, fruit, flowers, and twigs and normally lives in large families. The Colobus monkey has a beautiful long haired black and white coat, although newborn Colobuses are completely white. The images here is from Diani beach in Kenya where there is a number of families living in the coastal area next to the beach.
